We have had so much rain. Every gutter or whatever they are called out here is over flowing. When the kids run through the grass it looks like they are running through puddles with the amount of water that splashes around them. When they stood on the trampoline they sunk to where the water just filled up their boots. So they just took them off and kept playing. It wasn't long before Brooke had her coat off, too. Crazy girl. I have videos which is what I really wanted to post but for some reason my blog is not uploading videos these days. It is very frustrating!
You can see in this picture how the water is at the top of Ashley's boots. Actually you can't even see her boots because they are under water!
I don't know what Carter's problem was that day but he refused to go out. He wanted his boots on but once they were on he wanted them off. I don't know if that was because the girls took theirs off. But I knew he would not like to get his feet cold and wet like the girls. So as soon as I took them off he was screaming mad. So I sad forget it. You just don't get to play today. I guess he really didn't want to because once we were back inside he was standing watching the girls through the window totally content not being out there with them. Weird, normally he is all about the puddle splashing!
