The kids spoiled their dad this year, and he deserves it.
Ashley: He takes me on bike rides, even when he is busy
And he works hard for us.
Brooke: He buy Princess and the Frog movie and take me school
He also....
plays hide and seek in the house,
can fix anything,
takes us out to eat whenever we want (this is big for Ashley, she loves to eat out!)
wrestles and gives horse back rides
holds the priesthood and gives fathers blessings
bakes treats whenever he is in charge for the night
is a good teacher and helps with school work and reading
takes kids in the shower
changes diapers...even the dirty ones!
Most importantly he shows his children he loves them with hugs and kisses and tells them everyday.
We love you daddy!
Our primary made paper ties and had a picture of each child on them that the dads were to wear to church. They were so cute. We never got Ashley's though and she was very sad. I am sure her primary teacher still has it and we will make Gary wear it another day for her.
Dad opening his gifts. Carter was very interested in this. It was pretty cute. He just sat there and watched patiently.
Dad giving Thank you hugs.
Every year we go to my dads headstone and eat Oreo cookies and milk. I guess the rest of my family is tired of the tradition because no one else came this year. But I like to do it and its a nice opportunity to tell my kids about who he was and what he was like.
