Carter Advances

Carter has been taking baby steps learning to walk. It has been quite a while since he took his first ones. He finally worked up to about 6 steps at a time then a week or two later he went up to 12 steps. Prior to that the way he got around was a one knee scoot. Way cute!

Finally, this last week he went from 12 steps to full walking and even dancing. He loves music and always leads the music especially in his carseat when that is all he can move. He loves the chorister at church!

Carter just turned 11 months. Right on track for my kids. All 3 have walked by their 11 month birthday.

I love how unsteady he is. Gary has been calling him a zombie because he walks stiff legged with arms usually out and his talking sounds like moans. It's pretty funny. Here are a couple of clips showing off his new moves. Isn't it cute how he goes in circles to dance? Love it!

I have seen a lot of interesting and cute ways for little ones to get around before walking, but that one-knee crawl is the most creative I have seen!
And not to worry, they have only been doing the Veteran's Day Parade the last few years.
