Grape Picking!!

A couple of weekends ago we went with our friends the Pechans to their family vineyard to pick grapes. We all had a great time. Ashley did not feel well and it was pretty hot so she sat in the stroller a lot of the time but still got up to cut a few grapes down and go on a hayride. While the dads and kids picked grapes the moms squished them in preparation to make grape juice and jelly. I did not get any of these pictures but Jennifer did. I will have to get them from her. It was a sticky fun mess!

Brooke loved eating them and had one right after the other after the other. It was pretty cute. Video also shows me squishing the grapes. Too bad we didn't have big buckets so we could stomp them!

The next day we got together to do the big work of making the grape juice and bottling it. Jennifer also took pictures of this which I don't have yet. It was a big job and an even bigger mess!! Thanks Jen for allowing us to join your family, destroy your kitchen and have such great fun.
