A couple of days before Christmas we went to our friends house to make gingerbread men. It was even more fun because they got to eat them as soon as they finished unlike the house we do at home where we make them look at if for a few days before they can pick the candy off.

Christmas Eve we had a few people over for dinner. The gusy played video games and the girls played games at the table. Then the kids got to open their Christmas Eve jammies and exchange gifts with their friends.

Christmas Morning
Gifts from Santa
Carter got a Lightening McQueen Car
Brooke got Magnetic Dress up Dolls
Ashley got a Barbie Jeep
They all got giant candy canes, too. When Ashley was 3 we asked her what she wanted from Santa and she asked for a candy cane. So now she gets a candy cane from Santa every year.
My mom stayed the night Christmas Eve so she could wake up with the kids Christmas morning. We love having her live close by so we can spend the holidays together.
A funny from Ashley:
When she waled in Christmas mornign and saw the gifts she asked if Carter was the only one that got a gift from Santa since his was the only one that wasn't wrapped. Traditionally Santa does not wrap his gifts. I told her that Santa just wanted more for her to open and that he borrowed our wrapping paper.
Then I noticed the card from Santa and read it to her. She looks at it and says
"Santa knows where are markers are too?!"
Carter was having a great time playing with the tissue paper.
Later that night we went to my brother Spencer's for dinner and then after that went to my brother Shane's for treats and games. It was fun day and the kids were good and happy.
